Outreach Ministries
Outreach Ministry-this ministry focuses on providing physical and spiritual needs of individuals within our community. We are involved in many projects during the year, one of which is providing meals for residents in a local shelter; some needs are addressed as it occurs, such as victims of fire.
We also adopt families for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays; In addition we contribute comfort kits to the Chesapeake Conference of Seventh-day Adventists that are used in time of disaster and to help the indigent of our society.
Another facet of the ministry is the well being of our congregation, these tasks are accomplished by visiting the elderly and the sick, and sending get well cards.
On the opposite side of the spectrum we keep in contact with our children that are away at school by sending cards and packages.
I was hungered and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty and ye gave me drink:.. Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and he visited me....Matthew 25:35-36
